This list is for informational purposes only and is not an endorsement by the Akbash Dog Assocation of America (ADAA). The breeders on this list are ADAA members in good standing and have agreed to adhere to the UKC Breeder's Code of Ethics. However it is up to each buyer to do their due diligence, talk to breeders, and ask questions. (See the Before You Buy section).  Buyers can also expect to be questioned by breeders. 
VGL indicates breeders participating and enrolling their breeding dogs with the UC Davis Veterinary Genetics Lab Akbash Dog diversity database, which will determine the relatedness of the purebred Akbash Dog population and serve to guide breeders in future breeding plans.
